Biography

Early Life & Career

Samantha grew up in Gladwyne, PA just outside of Philadelphia. She attended Harriton High School in Rosemont, PA, and then moved on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Business from New York University.

Legal Training

Samantha applied to law school without really knowing if it was the right path for her. After enrolling at the University of Miami School of Law, she was fortunate to learn very quickly that she loves the law and enjoys reading cases and debating legal principles. During her time in law school, she excelled. She was on the Business Law Review and was a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Here she was also fortunate enough to compete in the BMI/Cardozo Entertainment and Communications Law Competition, a national IP/entertainment law competition. During her 2L year, her team won the Best Brief Award and the entire competition. Finally, in her 3L year, she was elected as VP. After graduating, Samantha earned an LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University.

Career at Smith Clinesmith

Samantha has joined the firm as a Senior Associate for the Law and Motion department. She is excited to work on cases that mean so much to people who have been wronged, and who are otherwise overlooked by powerful corporations.
