Early Life & Education
Jason Tyre Chapman is a native of Decatur, Georgia. He graduated from Darlington High School in Rome, Ga. Jason completed his Bachelors at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia majoring in political science and economics. He interned with the Georgia House of Representatives during the 2007 legislative session. Jason worked as a legislative aide to a State Representative assisting with constituent and legislative issues.
Legal Training
After Jason’s first year of law school, he clerked for a general practitioner where he first learned of his calling to help others. Jason was elected to the Student Bar Association during his second year of law school. He was also a member of the Black Law Students Association. Jason is an alumni of The Fund for American Studies Legal Studies Institute. This program taught Jason values and ideals of a free society rooted in individual liberty, limited government, free enterprise and constitutional originalism. Jason clerked for a boutique law firm in Washington D.C. practicing civil and construction litigation. Jason served as an extern with the DeKalb County District Attorneys Office where he advocated on behalf of victims of DeKalb County. He recently worked with a prestigious law firm practicing civil litigation.
