Angela Taylor is a native of Dallas, Texas. She is a proud product of Dallas ISD who graduated from the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet at Townview. After high school, Angela attended Texas A&M University. Angela then returned to the JBS Law Magnet as a teacher. While teaching, Angela earned a Master’s in Education Administration from the University of North Texas.
After more than seven years in education, Angela decided to pursue her first passion and enrolled in law school at the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While at SULC Angela was a junior editor of the Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty and a member of the trial advocacy board. Angela is now a cum laude graduate of the Southern University Law Center and a licensed attorney in Texas.
When she is not working Angela enjoys reading and spending time with family. She also continues to mentor and coach students as an attorney sponsor for the Irma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership Academy Mock Trial team.
